Combining beauty products with organic oils and foods, has given the best results for my skin over time. It was never easy to look after my complexion, because it is dehydrated (especially on my cheeks and eye area), it’s prone to acne and pigmentation, plus quite oily on the T zone. Here are some of the things that worked wonders for my combination, sensitive skin:
I simply love it! The texture glides effortlessly and the subtle scent makes you want to taste it, leaving behind soft, hydrated skin. I also see that it decreased the redness on my cheeks which is a huge relief. When I want a delicate peel I take a lemon slice, pour a few drops of coconut oil on top and gently rub it over my face, rinsing with luke warm water afterwards. It’s so refreshing!
A true weapon against premature aging this nurturing, easily absorbed oil is an important source of B vitamins (B2, B3, B6) and Omega7 fatty acid which preserve a youthful appearance, minimizing fine lines and wrinkles.
A great snack rich in selenium, calcium, vitamins E and C, keeps me away from unhealthy choices when I’m hungry.
Amazing taste! First I used the oil and when I saw the results on the skin I definitely had to try them, because I realized that what you eat defines the quality of your skin. They are an important source of proteins, calcium, selenium, vitamin B and fibers that also protect you against heart diseases.
This dried fruits are full of vitamin C and after a week of eating 50g per day I can definitely see an improvement on the appearance of my complexion.
Other things that help me are “my little tips”:
- Maintaining a complete sugar-free diet; I started in high-school, it seemed hard at the begging, but actually it’s not: after a month I was able to completely cut-off all the sweets and never looked back; I’m glad I did it because I got rid of acne;
- Staying away from fast food, alcohol and cigarettes;
- Drinking plenty of water with freshly squeezed lemon juice and once or twice a week drinking a glass of water with a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, that keeps my skin clear with it’s antibacterial properties.
