Inexpensive products that work

Afordable products that have good quality are not that easy to find, so I decided to post and share with you, anytime I find stuff  that I like. Here’s my list:

Balea Ultra Sensitive Cream – has a fine, soft texture that feels super gentle on the skin, imparting hydration. It contains shea butter, almond oil, vitamin E and allantoin that nourish and soothe the skin, not to mention it has no fragrance, colorants or preservatives (see full ingredients list below). It didn’t irritate my skin at all, which is something I rarely experience with moisturizers. You only find it in Dm stores, which are one of my favourite places to go shopping. Why? Because the stores are pretty quiet, no music, no beauty advisers to push products; I can just read the labels and pay attention to what I’m buying.

Nera Plant Calendula Cream – although on the packaging says “cream”, it is actually an ointment with a thicker consistency that spreads super easily. Packed with 100% natural ingredients, this balm can be applied on top of super  dry dehydrated skin (knees, elbows, feet), on insect bytes, chapped lips or after you stayed too much in the sun. It can be used even around the eyes or mixed with your regular cream for extra moisture and repair of the skin. You find it on www.neraplant.ro, in some pharmacies and Dm stores (they also make ointments with other combinations of plants, all worth trying).

Bourjois Khol & Contour Extra Long-wear Eye Pencil – It is really hard to find an eye pencil that has a good consistency , that’s not too soft to melt and make a mess under your eyes, or not too hard that you won’t be able to draw a line with it. This one is really pigmented, has a great texture, easily blendable, so you can create a smokey and is long-lasting enough to create a lined eye that stays for hours (you will still have to apply a powder eyeshadow on top to set it). It can also be applied on the inner rim of the eyes and as a tip for those of you who don’t know, any eye pencil that has written “khol” on the packaging is safe for the the waterline. It comes in 3 wearable shades (black, brown, grey) and it has been a staple in my kit for years, because I get good quality at affordable price.
