Organic Talk

During the cold season my skin becomes more reactive and prone to redness and I felt like I should add an extra layer of moisture, apart from my usual skincare routine, and what better choices than the organic ones?

My first choice was Murumuru Butter, which leaves a great, lightweight moisture on the skin. At first the texture feels grainy, but once you rub it gently on the back of your hand, it melts and becomes fluid like an oil. It feels comfortable, absorbs quite easily, while diminishing fine lines and redness.  The anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties plus the hight amount of vitamin A, makes it the perfect choice for dry, dehydrated or sensitive skin.

Shea Butter was recommended to me and I was not convinced to use it because I thought it was too unctuous, but I’m glad I gave it a try: I had baby face after! It’s rich and creamy with a fine texture after you warm it a bit between your fingers. I only need a small amount for the whole face, but you can apply it only where you feel really dehydrated, just around the eyes for instance, as a lip balm or any particular area that’s rough or irritated. It has smoky smell, that is strange at first, but I got easily used to it. Shea butter is also anti-inflammatory , it regenerates the skin due to vitamins A, F, E and it’s a precious ally for those suffering from dermatitis, eczema or skin discoloration.

I also added Himalayan Pink Salt to the bath water that stimulates  circulation and removes toxins from the body. My skin recovered softness and comfort, red areas on my complexion are barely visible, so I believe everyone, but especially people with dry, sensitive skin or rosacea, would benefit from these amazing natural ingredients.
